PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

The project aims to support the change of the education and training system at organizational and cross -sectoral level, increasing the quality of work and practices of the organizations and institutions involved and responding more effectively to their common needs through transnational and cross-sectoral cooperation.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES 

– increase the attractiveness of the initial VET by creating the right conditions for greater permeability between different levels of education and in particular between school education and higher vocational training, 

– develop and promote inclusive and accessible educational environments based on the principles of equity, integration and equal opportunities, reducing the risk of “marginalization” of the VET system, but at the same time increasing the level of perceived quality in terms of programs, structures and educational services. -reduce the rate of dropout and early school leaving when choosing a higher level of education;

OUTCOME 

-Develop new capacity building paths for managers, coordinators, teachers, educators and operators -Develop new common models and methods of transnational and inter-sectoral cooperation -Increase the effectiveness of the guidance system not only in a delicate phase of school life, but capable of integrating with the teaching programs and supporting the student throughout the entire educational path -Reduce the risk of vocational training schools turning into “educational ghettos” 

-Improve communication, promotion and perception of the quality of VET as the right initial choice capable of offering educational and cultural programs, high-level facilities and services and at the same time guaranteeing professional preparation consistent with the needs of the job market. OUTPUT 

1-Creation of a small-scale, heterogeneous and cross-sectoral international partnership with large potential for growth and development 

2-Implementation of an innovative program of inter-sectoral and multi-disciplinary training and cooperation laboratories between trainers 

3-Definition of common methodological guidelines for orientation to the initial VET 

4-Implementation of a workshop program for promotion, dissemination and transferability of the project and its results 

5-Development of an intermodal and multimedia communication plan.

INTERNATIONAL LABORATORIES (LABS)

The Project foresees the implementation of a program of international peer-to-peer training and cooperation laboratories during which they will collaborate in the co-creation of a common methodological model of initial VET orientation in an attempt to integrate national methods and procedures and to contribute to the improvement of an open, intersectoral, high-quality and at the same time inclusive, sustainable and attractive training environment for all. 

The Project foresees the creation of 3 T&C Labs: 

1st T&C LAB (3 days – Italy_ IC Perugia 8) – “Building and defining an effective inter-sectoral and multidisciplinary educational plan for orientation based on a strategy based on integrated and differentiated educational paths” 

2nd T&C LAB (3 days – Poland_ TEB Edukacja) “WE CHOOSE VET FOR THE FUTURE!: influencing the perception of the added value of the initial IeFP training offer (programs, structures, services) between inclusion and quality: methods, techniques and tools” 

3rd T&C LAB (3 days – Bulgaria_ SU Hristo Yassenov) “Orient, monitor, evaluate: reducing the risk of dropout and dispersion during the training path: methods, techniques, tools”. Each LAB includes: PART 1) joint transnational mobility lasting 3 days. PART 2) multi-activity smart working (cooperation learning) through PADLET. For each Lab, a specific activity is planned to evaluate the pre and post results.

The working language will be English. 

Each partner organization will cover travel expenses to and from the event venue, accommodation and meals. 

LABS PARTICIPANTS AND SELECTION METHODS 

Total No. 36 managers/coordinators and trainers/operators of the initial IeFp and teachers/guidance counselors of school education. 12 coordinators/Trainers/Operators/(Target Group: n.3 per Partner) will participate in the LABs, in addition to 4 local listeners.The Partner Organizations will select a maximum of 9 participants who will alternate at each Training & Cooperation LAB (total 3xLAB) based on selection procedures that comply with privacy and transparency regulations and the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination. 

Requirements and selection indicators:
-experience in the field of school orientation; 
-linguistic and digital skills;
– motivation for participation. Any reserves must also be selected. 

Each T&C LAB will be attended by a group of participants based on the topic covered. In each group, at least 10% will be under 35, another 10% will be over 50 and 50% of the total participants will be women. Finally, at least 20% of the participants will be involved and selected: coordinators, trainers, teachers, operators who are suitable for participation but have a recognized and documented level of disability/invalidity, with bonuses for those under 35.
